A thriving Flexo trade-shop: Happy 1-Year Anniversary to Switch Graphics!

Earlier this year, we wrote how Switch Graphics found entrepreneurial success with Anderson & Vreeland.

Switch Graphics is the ripe old age of 1 year this June 10th and we wanted to give them a shout-out for an event-filled year with unexpected roadblocks along the way.

Knowing that a large majority of Canadian start-ups fail within the first 12 months, it is a major achievement that Switch Graphics has managed to grow and thrive.

The company started with 3 owners and a Graphic Department and now continue to grow with intentions to hire additional staff in Sales and Production to help meet the demands of the growing shop as they went from 3 clients when they opened their doors a year ago, to over 25 now.

Month by month they continue to bring in new customers. They have also diversified their operations from only making 155 and 250 thick plates to producing .067, .112 polymer as well as water-wash letterpress plates and rubber plates. Not to mention full plate mounting capabilities.

By perfecting their process over time, they are now an efficient well-organized plate production company competing with some of Toronto’s finest corrugated plate makers. As a result, May has turned out to be a record month sales-wise!

The production facility is now equipped with enough capacity to satisfy a 5-year growth plan. We wish them all the best in their commitment to innovating their business to satisfy changing market demands.
