Talking with Leaders

If it’s May, it must be time for Xeikon Café North America, which follows the European edition that takes place near Antwerp, Belgium in March. Anderson & Vreeland is looking forward to meeting and talking with some of the label and package converting industry’s thought leaders, the men and women who intend to leverage both digital and analog technologies to keep their businesses successful.

Staged again near the company’s U.S. headquarters in Itasca, IL, the Café is a low-key, high-value event that packs two and a half days with a host of business issues that are near and dear to the interests of commercial and packaging printers alike. Now in its third year, the North America version is tailored to the practical needs of attendees. More than 200 attendees were on hand last year to take advantage of the wealth of information provided.

To be sure, there is ample opportunity to see and touch plenty of Flint Group and Xeikon technology, but the sessions dive quickly into solving business challenges and showing attendees how approaches different from those they may be using can add value to their operations.

ThermoFlexX 30Anderson & Vreeland is one of Xeikon’s “Aura Partners,” a collaborative group of companies that works with Xeikon and its customers to bring customer-driven, market-leading solutions to market. Some of these focus on Xeikon’s digital systems, while others offer compelling approaches for conventional presses. For example, Xeikon’s ThermoFlexX Digital Imaging technology is a powerful innovation for any packaging printer seeking to raise the bar on quality by using better plates.

Jeff Skolnik“Xeikon’s ThermoFlexX platemakers provide advanced imaging with higher resolution and can interface with all front-ends,” explains Jeff Skolnik, Digital Business Analyst at Anderson & Vreeland, which represents the ThermoflexX line to label and packaging printers and converters in North America. “Its compatibility with related equipment and the ability to integrate with production workflows provides real solutions for today’s demands.”

“Digital technology is a perfect fit for many label and packaging printers and converters,” said Dave Miller, Director of Digital Technologies at Anderson & Vreeland. “The Xeikon Café is the ideal opportunity to share how our partnership with Xeikon and Flint Group, and the technologies being showcased at the Café, can provide a compelling and profitable path forward.”
