Flexo Spotlight: Dixie Graphics

Flexo Daily takes an in-depth look at client Dixie Graphics of Nashville, TN

Dixie Graphics has been in business since 1903. The Nashville, Tennessee-based company started as a pre-media provider for the printing and packaging industry. They specialize in platemaking of flexographic and dry offset printing plates, plus graphics and color management.

We asked Matt Williams, Dixie Graphic’s VP of business development, to talk about some of the changes he’s seen in the platemaking industry, especially when it comes to technology. This is what he says:
Plate materials and technologies are constantly evolving to deliver better print quality. Some printers are taking plate making in house, but many are still serviced by pre media companies

Digital is developing more and more every day in the consumer packaging industry

Competition is stronger and partly because of this we have seen turnaround time demands get increasingly shorter.
Here’s some highlights of Dixie’s services.
